Onela market is a special e-commerce site, which offers its Thai customers to configure and receive their weekly food basket in an intuitive and easy way.
The site works with WordPress and Woocommerce. So I developed a complete automatic shopping cart system independent of the Woocommerce cart, but perfectly compatible with the Woocommerce payment and ordering system. This custom solution was developed as a WordPress plugin, interacting smoothly and intelligently with the theme and other plugins in place.
The random generation of weekly baskets required the development of complex algorithms so that the total cost of the baskets generated did not exceed the defined budget, while ensuring a relevant rotation of the products offered.
A lot of work has also been done on the design and UX of the website, and many invisible functions have been developed in order to ensure the customer has a frictionless experience that is much faster and more comfortable than the classic Woocommerce system.
