Project Overview
I redesigned and rebuilt autocar-location.com, a WordPress platform dedicated to coach, minibus and sedan hire with driver. The site already had a dense SEO footprint and a large service and local-page structure, so the redesign had to preserve search visibility while making the offer clearer, more persuasive and easier for the team to manage.
I built a custom WordPress theme, rebuilt the homepage around conversion, created a four-step quote request flow in vanilla JavaScript, and integrated two custom REST endpoints for quote submission and city autocomplete. To support large-scale local SEO, I also structured the project around a dedicated Ville custom post type, reusable service templates, custom metaboxes, theme options and a cleaner project-specific admin dashboard.
The result is a more maintainable transport website with a stronger commercial funnel and a scalable editorial architecture. On the April 23, 2026 local rebuild snapshot, the project included 3,499 published URLs, including 3,295 city pages, 37 content pages, 161 articles and five dedicated vehicle pages.
