Project Overview
I designed and built BoatClosers as a production-oriented V1 for private boat sales between buyers and sellers. The goal was to replace fragmented emails, shared files and informal follow-up with a single application that centralizes access, documents, workflow steps and traceability around each transaction.
The core of the product is a server-enforced transaction workflow built with React, Vercel serverless functions and Supabase. I implemented strict buyer/seller access rules with RLS, secure invitation tokens, conditional deposit flows, Stripe Checkout for platform usage, signed document storage, an append-only audit log, and an internal engine that generates 21 DOCX legal and closing documents from live transaction data.
This V1 turns a dense legal and operational process into a usable business tool: offer submission, acceptance, deposit acknowledgments, due diligence, vessel acceptance, document handling and closing all happen inside a coherent system designed for reliability, security and operational accountability.
